1. His wife made some pumpkin pies
for supper.
2. The remains of the supper were taken
away.
3. It is now his turn to set me up to a nice
dinner.
4. Because my husband has gone to a
stag dinner, I have to stay at home alone.
1. dinner
Shall we ask him to the dinner?
正确 Shall we ask him to dinner?
像这样的短语还有at dinner, before dinner, after dinner等。
2. supper
I had wonderful supper yesterday.
正确 I had a wonderful supper yesterday.
